Pre-coat concept
This constitutes an evolution of the cooking jet specifically dedicated to the running of the STABILYS® range. Developed for pre-coating applications, it allows the industrial production of glues containing 42% of dry material, adapted specially for the pre-coating of papers.
Specialized in the conception of non-stop cookers, Roquette has developed a cooker particularly adapted to the cooking of the STABILYS® product range, which is capable of producing industry-strength glues containing 42% of dry material.
Using this technology, the implementation of the STABILYS® products range, which is dedicated to the pre-coat application, allows the partial replacement of latex during the pre-coating process without any loss of the qualities in either the mechanical or printability of coated paper.
The optimised binding system contains 50% latex and 50% STABILYS®.
