The success of Roquette at SPCI 2011
At the SPCI 2011, Roquette has oriented its communication around two axes: its green solutions for the Paper Industry and the 25th Anniversary of its presence on the Nordic markets.
The SPCI exhibition is one of the largest Paper Industry exhibitions in the world and took place in Stockholm between the 17th and 19th of May 2011.
Around 650 companies were represented with more than 230 stands and there were in excess of 9000 visitors.
The exhibition takes place every three years and on this occasion Roquette was the only starch company there which re-enforced the impact of its presence.
| It was a successful result for Roquette which received its actual and prospective customers on the stand, mainly from the Nordic countries but also from other European countries and Asia, strengthening its image with the world’s most important Paper Groups. |

Our message was directed along two axes:
-
The‘green solutions Roquette offers for the Paper Industry :
- Biopolymers from the VECTOR® IC/SC range which can be used instead of synthetic polymers. This technology is already used in tissue manufacture and ASA emulsification and is developing in the areas of retention and drainage.
- STABILYS® A allows the partial replacement of latex in pigment coating. Already being widely used in coatings for offset litho printing, the use of STABILYS® A is growing in coated papers for gravure printing as well as in coated cartonboard.
- The 25th Anniversary of Roquette’s presence on the Nordic markets:
