Gluing process: Roquette at FEFCO Technical Seminar

In focus:
- A technical offer to regain control over the glue and gluing
- VECTOR® N range, a green alternative to borax

Roquette will present a paper at the technical congress of FEFCO, 23 to 25 March 2011 in Munich:

  • His technical offer for the corrugated board industry is based on :

- a range of starches produced from three raw materials - maize, wheat and pea

- an automatic glue kitchen for corrugated board glue endowed with four glue processes

- the training of the operators for :

- equipment
- glue and its formulation
- gluing process

Gluing process: VECTOR N, a green alternative to borax

This technical offer ensures optimisation for each customer for their product mix and therefore reduces the true manufacturing cost of corrugated board. Thanks to the operator training, the board manufacturer regains control over the glue and the gluing process.

  • A green alternative to borax

The VECTOR® N range enables the gluing performances of maize and wheat starches attained with borax to be attained with reduced borax.
