The VECTOR® N product line combines the total properties useful to fabrication of corrugated cardboard. The traditional derived amylaces are only one part of these properties.

1. The specific structure and proportion of contained in amylose deliver the adequate water level retention for the ‘wetting’ of papers.

2. The linear amylose molecule improves the glue penetration in the papers allowing an excellent anchor of the glue joint.

3. The strong sensitivity to heat combined with the development of the green bond secures a rapid double-sided joint. Contrary to the corn starch with high amylose levels, the amylose present in the secondary starch contributes to the gluing, allowing a reinforcing of the anchor.

4. The low level of energy needed to burst the secondary starch is also a determinating factor in the corrugating machine performance, giving the opportunity to employ the range of VECTOR® N products in all situations where the quantity of heat is either intentionally limited or where heat transfer is insufficient.
